simfy brings 16 million songs to the new network-capable home entertainment systems
Cologne, Germany; January 26, 2012. It's now possible for customers in Germany, Austria, Belgium and Switzerland to access simfy directly from Onkyo's compatible AV receiver and home theater systems. The only thing needed to enjoy simfy on an Onkyo system is an internet connection and a simfy Premium account.
simfy can be easily and intuitively used via an Onkyo receiver hooked up to the TV screen. The remote control can be used to access playlists or simfy artist-radios. Everything offered can be comfortably browsed by artist, album or individual songs. And of course album covers are also displayed. In addition, an Onkyo remote app for Android is available free of charge, enabling convenient remote control of simfy features from an Android smart phone via Wi-Fi.
"Our new receiver models allow us to offer simfy users first-class home entertainment systems providing convenient access to simfy's virtually inexhaustible repertoire," said Ken Araki, Director of Product Planning and Marketing.
