Rock legends KISS are set to bring their new "Sonic Boom Over Europe: From the Beginning To the Boom" tour to Europe in Summer 2010.

With multiple dates across Europe, the "Sonic Boom Over Europe: From The Beginning To The Boom" is set to be THE rock event of 2010, building on the incredible success of the 2009 "Sonic Boom" album.

"Sonic Boom Over Europe: From The Beginning To The Boom" will see dates in Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Demark, Holland, France, Spain, Belgium and, not only will the tour feature KISS's first UK arena shows in 11 years, but it will see the band breaking new ground completely with their first-ever shows in Slovakia.

Acclaim for KISS on their current spectacular, sell-out, "KISS Alive 35" North American tour has been universal. METAL HAMMER hailed the "Return Of The Kings!" MOJO declared: "A KISS show is as thrilling and bombastic now as it was in 1975."

Whilst utilizing elements of "KISS Alive 35", "Sonic Boom Over Europe: From The Beginning To The Boom" will be a fresh, new show tailored to the bands European fans and showcasing the brand new "Sonic Boom" album.

Widely acclaimed as another KISS classic, "Sonic Boom" rocked Planet Earth when it debuted worldwide and burned up the charts - the album is also the highest charting album of KISS' career in the USA.

On November 25, 2009, KISS will perform to a global audience when their show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles is streamed live on Facebook. This one-off event will be unique chance for European fans to see the "KISS Alive 35" show before it changes for the European run - the perfect warm up to the must-see tour of 2010.

Woodland Hills, CA (November 2, 2009) – Industry Veteran Larry Lee, “CEO / President of A&R” for the new music imprint and entertainment company, HOR Entertainment Group says the new company will be a full service entertainment company including HOR Records, HOR Publishing, HOR Film and Television and HOR Merchandise. The company will also feature a charitable component, COW (Children of War). HOR will release one album per year on behalf of COW. Artists from the label and guest stars will perform on the release with proceeds going directly to the charity. He has formed the company with Grammy nominated writer and producer Curt Cuomo “President and Head of A&R” and plans to make an aggressive push and early impact on the entertainment industry.

Lee notes, HOR will be an Artist Centric Independent Label, focusing on true Artist development. "We are planning to sign 12 acts in 3 years and will be a singles driven company. We are working with amazing and talented individuals who know how to make things happen. We plan to get off to a fast start, keep moving and never look back."

With a mandate to emerge as a label and entertainment concern that develops relevant in-demand artists and songs, and produces noteworthy film and television projects, HOR’s offices and studios are lush and reminiscent of the early A&M lot in Hollywood. The complex features several state-of-the-art recording studios.

CEO / President of A&R Larry Lee began his musical career at the age of 16, landing a record deal with RCA Records. He went on to sign with EMI for three records in the late 70s/80s with his band The Scooters. They toured with The Pretenders, White Snake, Joe Perry Project and Joe Jackson to name a few. Larry also joined and toured with Badfinger. As a musician and producer and writer, Lee has worked with such artists as Mr. Big, Meatloaf, Roger Daltry of The Who and numerous projects with composer and three-time Oscar-winner Giorgio Moroder.

Joining Lee as “President and Head of A&R” for the company is Grammy nominated writer and music producer Curt Cuomo. Cuomo is a multi-talented producer, songwriter and musician. Curt has written and produced with such multi-platinum artists as KISS, Eddie Money, Edgar Winter, Slash and Clint Black. Cuomo Co-wrote the title track for the KISS album, "Psycho Circus” along with the third song, “I Pledge Allegiance to the State of Rock 'n Roll". “Psycho Circus' become the highest charting album ever for the legendary band, reaching number three on the Billboard Album Charts, and the single Psycho Circus reached #1, going gold in just five weeks. About the new company, Curt says, “In 2010, it’s time to get back to cultivating artists that will stand the test of time.”

Legal matters will be handled by Scott Bradford, “Business and Legal Affairs / A&R” for HOR Entertainment Group who has numerous associations within the music and entertainment industry including representation of Panic! At the Disco, The Shins and Plain White T’s among many others.

“Vice President of new media” is Hab Haddad (www.habcomedia.com). Hab has over 20 years of experience in the Entertainment, Media and IT consulting industries. Hab’s clients range from A list musicians and entertainers as well as technology companies to NFL sports teams. Prior to Habco Media, Hab was the Director of New Media and Business Development at McGhee Entertainment, a full service artist management company for recording artists such as KISS, Ted Nugent, Night Ranger, Hootie & the Blowfish and Darius Rucker to name a few.

Promotion/marketing/distribution duties will be overseen by industry vet, “VP of Marketing and Promotion” Bob Divney. For 25 years Bob Divney has amassed practical experience in the area of promotion and marketing of music brands in a rapidly evolving music marketplace. His experience covers all aspects of the music business from running a label, brand marketing, artist management, radio promotion and artist development. Divney has been instrumental in developing and breaking the careers of Green Day, Faith No More, Audioslave, KoRn, Oren Lavie, The B-52’s, The Barenaked Ladies and Depeche Mode among others. He has most recently ran Adrenaline Music Group and held key positions at CO5 Music, The Firm and Reprise Records.

Kiss opened the U.S. portion of its Kiss Alive 35 in Detroit

Kiss opened the U.S. portion of its Kiss Alive 35 tour by recreating its breakthrough "Alive!" album in the place it was made -- Cobo Arena in Detroit Rock City.

As its done throughout the year, the group dedicated its main set on Friday to 1975's gold "Alive!," playing all but two of the set's 16 songs ("Firehouse" and "Rock Bottom" were excerpted) and altering the running order slightly to close with "Rock and Roll All Nite." "Deuce" started the two-hour and 20-minute show amidst booming pyrotechnics, and the set list treated members of the Kiss Army, who packed Cobo to the roof for opening night, to deep cuts such as "Got to Choose," "Nothin' to Lose," "Parasite" and "Watchin' You," as well as drum and guitar solos by Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, respectively, and an extended version of "100,000 Years" that culminated in a call-and-response between Paul Stanley and the crowd.

Sans "Firehouse," meanwhile, Gene Simmons did his usual fire-breathing act during "Hotter Than Hell."

The Detroit show also unveiled Kiss' new stage -- which Stanley told Billboard.com is "the widest, biggest stage we've had," featuring a massive HD screen above it, three levels of lighted cubes at the rear and two video screens and huge Kiss Army banners flanking it. Hydraulic lifts brought the band members up from below the stage level at the beginning of the show and lofted them above the crowd while confetti swirled and more pyrotechnics exploded at the end of "Rock and Roll All Nite."

The encore dipped into post-"Alive!" Kiss favorites such as "Shout It Out Loud," a rendition of "Lick it Up" that included a bit of the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "I Love it Loud" with a blood-spewing Simmons hoisted above the lighting rig. Kiss delivered the first public performance of "Modern Day Delilah," the first single from the new "Sonic Boom" album that comes out Oct. 6 (the group shot a video for the song on Thursday at Cobo) before Stanley "flew" over the crowd to sing "Love Gun" on a satellite stage by the sound board and came back to finish with, appropriately, "Detroit Rock City," with Kid Rock looking on and acknowledged by Stanley.

A full camera crew documented the opening night concert as well as a second Cobo show on Saturday for what Simmons said would be an eventual concert DVD.

The Kiss Alive 35 show has stayed largely the same throughout the year, but Stanley said some changes may occur once "Sonic Boom" -- a Wal-Mart exclusive that includes a second disc of re-recorded Kiss hits and a DVD -- is available. "It's been basically a celebration of the 35th anniversary of (Kiss' first album), but it's going to morph into 'Sonic Boom' quite quickly as the album comes out," he explained.

Kiss, with opening act Buckcherry, will be on the road through Dec. 6, including more dates in Canada, where the group also toured during the summer, and a Halloween night show at the Voodoo Experience festival in New Orleans. The A&E network will begin airing "Kissteria," a documentary from the group's Australia and New Zealand leg of the tour, later this fall.

As they celebrate 35 years of rockin', KISS today announced the dates of the KISS ALIVE 35 North American tour. The tour kicks off with a rapidly-selling, special multiple-show engagement in Detroit Rock City beginning September 25th, where KISS will be playing the classic album that started it all: KISS ALIVE! The tour leg will then hit more than 40 additional cities before concluding in December.

This incredible show will feature a new stage set, pyro effects that only the "hottest band in the world" could deliver, and all new costumes. Fans will be treated to a 2 1/2 hour set of rock�s greatest hits, including "Rock and Roll All Nite," "I Was Made for Lovin' You," "Detroit Rock City," "God Gave Rock & Roll to You" and "Shout It Out Loud," as well as songs from the band's new album SONIC BOOM. Buckcherry will be main support on all of the KISS ALIVE 35 North American dates.

WWE Summerslam This Sunday!

It all goes down this Sunday right here in Swagbucks' backyard at the Staples Center! There will be 5 title matches and some of the most storied Superstars in the history of the WWE & professional wrestling in general. It's WWE SummerSlam, or the Wrestlemania of the Summer as I like to call it.

Here's a rundown of what's in store at the 22nd annual SummerSlam!

John Cena will challenge WWE Champion, Randy Orton for thebig belt. Also wrestling on this night will be Rey Mysterio Jr., one of the funnest wrestlers to watch, will defend his Intercontinental title against Dolph Ziggler. Chris Jericho and Big Show will defend their Tag Team belts against Cryme Tyme. Other tag team action will include Degeneration X; Shawn Michael aka the Heartbreak Kid & Triple H taking on The Legacy; Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. Jeff Hardy will defend his WWE Heavyweight Championship belt against CM Punk in a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs match...and those are always a joy to watch. Christian will also take to the canvas to defend his ECW Championship Beltagainst William Regal. In a non-title match, a little wrestler known as Jack SWAGGER will be facing off against Montel Vontavious Porter. For obvious reasons, I hope the Swagger prevails.

KISS and Walmart Announce SONIC BOOM

KISS and Walmart announced today that SONIC BOOM-the band's highly anticipated CD, and its first new material in 11 years-will be sold in the U.S. and Canada exclusively at Walmart, Walmart.com and Sam's Club retail locations beginning October 6. SONIC BOOM, produced by the band's Paul Stanley in Los Angeles, is the centerpiece of a three-disc set that also features a completely re-recorded greatest hits CD as well as a live DVD shot in Argentina during the band's recent, record-breaking KISS ALIVE 35 South American tour. The CD set will retail for $12, with pre-orders starting in September on Walmart.com.

KISS' Gene Simmons says, "SONIC BOOM may be the best new record we've done since Destroyer! It is Rock And Roll Over meets Love Gun. The world's biggest retailer had better get ready for the hottest band in the world and hire more cashiers before October 6th!"
